457 Visa Holders - Trade Across

The holder of a 457 visa (overseas workers) has finished the term of their employment with a sponsor employer. The worker has gained experience and developed a skills set under the training of the sponsor employer. The overseas worker can now be traded by the employer to another sponsor employer and have the visa extended.
Under 457 visa laws - recruitment companies can not sponsor and contract workers to employers and then on hire the visa holder to other employers.
This is an opportunity for employers to find another sponsor (employer) on behalf of the worker to take on the worker as a new employer sponsor. The employer benefits from the cross trade as there is a potential transfer fee paid to the employer. The new employer can take on the staff with skills set already developed and the employee benefits with an extended visa and pay.
